Welcome to 2010 the "acceptable year of the Lord" This is my first blog post and I am very excited about what 2010 holds for the Ark City Free Will Baptist church and for the Kingdom of God. In Luke Chapter 4 Christ reads from the book of Isaiah that he came to preach the acceptable year of the Lord. This year we need to focus on the Kingdom more than ever and preach the truth of Jesus Christ. It is only Jesus Christ that can heal the broken hearted, deliver the captives, give sight to the blind (physically and spiritually) and give freedom to those that have been wounded by the world and by the church. Religion is deadly but Jesus Christ gives life. I hope and pray we declare Jesus in a very real way this year. God bless.

- I am a home missionary with the Kansas State Association of Free Will Baptist. My family and I moved from Missouri to Arkansas (pronounced R-can-sus) City in August 2009 to start the Ark City Free Will Baptist Church. I have been married almost 20 years to the same amazing woman and have 2 kids that are a great joy to my life. My hero's are Jesus, the prophet Jeremiah, the Apsotle John, my wife, my dad,Wyatt Earp,and Spiderman. My bucket list includes ministering in the Island nation of Comoros, reading every Louis L'Amour novel, short story, article, and poem ever written, and reaching 1000 cache finds with 180 found in one day (if that is even possible).
